Two things that got changed after the revolution were that the American got power in 2 ways Political power in hands of ordinary men, and they created the figure of the President, before the revolution the British people were in power. However, the 2 things that stayed the same was, slavery and Freedom of worship. For Slavery, it continued after the revolution. For Freedom of worship, everyone could have followed their own religion.

The story, Lost In The Antarctic, BY TOD OLSON, is a survival book about a real-life situation. The story takes place in the Antarctic, while they are being stranded. One main character is Shackleton, he is a really good leader that never gave up even in the most difficult situation. In the beginning of the story, we can see the picture of the ship being tilted and not in a very good condition, so they need to break the ice to cross the Antarctic. While they are there, they found many difficulties, for example not enough resources, food, and the weather there were extremely cold. At last, there seems like there is no hope to survive, but at the end of the story we can see the men get out of the Antarctic alive. One major conflict is Man vs. Nature, Shackleton and his crew have experienced the cold weather and the harsh environment they faced. One thing I really liked about the book was that Shackleton never gave up on his men even when they ran out of food. One theme of the book is, When you are going on adventure, you should always be prepared. I like this book because this book can teach us about survival and how to be an amazing leader.

First I learned was: It is very dangerous to be in such harsh environment in the Antarctic. (notebook page Homework)
As I read further, I noticed that Shackleton was a very good leader because even in the hardest situation, Shackleton always seemed so positive and never gave up on his men.

Humanities
This poem came from, “Lather and nothing else” on page 2 So today I am going to talk about the story that I’ve read and explain The Conflict if it is internal or external, explain how the poem shows the concept, and describing how my design and artwork support my poem. The conflict in this poem is External and It is person vs person because in the second paragraph, it says, “ A good barber like myself stakes his reputation on not permitting that to happen to any of his costumers”. So that means the protagonist is the barber and the antagonist is Captain Torres. My poem shows the concept because, some of the words that are needed and when read makes sense is in my poem. My graphic design and art work supports my poem because the things that are said in the poem connect to it. I have images and colors that match up with my found poem.
So I came up with this idea for a Santa LED that when you pressed a button it will light up and I even got his hands that opens and you can see the light more clearly. I came up with this idea because it was almost christmas and I wanted to do and accomplish this design. So I have improved for my sewing skills, I did not stab my self in the first minute of sewing, what was new to me was like how does a string make a Led light up, but then Ms. Kim told me that I have an electric string that will help it light up, so I did it incorrectly this entire time. So I tried it and it worked, thanks to Ms. Kim. My tips for other semester students are, instead of using regular string for something to light up, don’t use it! Use electric string instead. I would like Ms. Kim to give us more time to do it, check it, and figure it out if there is a problem. The thing that worked well was that every single example that she showed us was extremely clear and by watching what she did at least 2 times, you could understand how to do it and the steps on how to do it.
Sharing my product
I have made a gift card and I made it Santa related because Christmas is coming up and so many people are interested in getting and giving gift cards. In addition, they are very cool and when it lights up, you cant see the light through Santa. I selected this design because I admire Santa Claus and other designs were not as popular as Santa Claus. Since Santa Claus is very popular among people, this form has been accepted by people near Christmas. I had to redo it so many times because I messed up in many places. I didn’t do any changes to my design, what was on my planning paper was used for this project. I didn’t do any changes because when I finished and uploaded my plan, I just went and did it. I am proud of everything that I did to accomplish my goal and my goal was to finish this project.

How to make the LED light up was completely new to me because I couldn’t get it to work the first 5 times when I did it. Moreover, this new item has leveled up my knowledge of making an electronic gift card. So when I used regular string and it didn’t turn on, it was very hard for me. However, when I asked the teacher, she told me my error, I had to use electrical string for it to work, and after hours and hours of work, I finally did it. I made it light up.
These are my tips for next semester students: Use Electric string for this, Plan out your work before doing it, and while your planning, write down how much amount of material you need for this so you don’t get confused. My tip.
I would like to learn how to use 10 LED’S to complete this project and create the best one that I have ever made.
So, I was going to do a soccer arcade game. I went to youtube to find an arcade game, to my surprise, I finally found an soccer arcade game. But, little did I know, when i saw how easy they made it was accepted to make this. When I started it, I realized it was not easy as it looked, They showed a really hard step and because it was too hard they skipped that part but they put it without showing how to do the step. We finally finished it. Me and my partner was waiting for the fourth graders to come and play. But, this was the time I realized something wrong. When they were playing our arcade game there wasn’t for the first minute nothing went wrong they were enjoying it and having tons of fun, but time passed by there were something wrong with our cardboard arcade game, when players got close together the magnets clipped to each other, they called us and we rushed to see what was happening, it turned out that the players where clipped together. I was so mad because that was the second time this had happened and they told us that they liked simple games not the game that we made so here is what we did, “I grabbed a white board marker and wrote, “You cannot play this card board arcade game!” “The sign said” and with that our card board arcade game was banned for the whole block and with that I realized that whatever the internet shows you something that is very easy and they tell “you can finish it in one day.” Do not think that it will be incredibly simple.
