Mexican Revolution

This is a narrative journal that I wrote in a random peasant’s view during the Mexican Revolution called Antonio.

Flames of Liberation in The Mexican Revolution

The Mexican Revolution started because the people in Mexico were not happy with the way things were. There were many problems like unfair treatment of farmers, poor people not having enough food, and the president being too powerful. People wanted more rights and opportunities. They fought for what they believed in and wanted a better life for everyone in Mexico. The Mexican Revolution,  a big fight that lasted for many years, in the end helped make things better for the country.

Press The Button?

This found poem was created with the words of Richard Matheson. In the story Button Button, the main character Norma faced a problem that she was talking with Arthur about whether they should press the button or not. Norma thinks that they should press it, but Arthur thinks a person is going to die so they should not press it. So, this conflict is a person vs person. The protagonist is Norma, and the antagonist is Arthur. For instance, on page 108, sentence 14. Norma and Arthur were debating about whether they should press the button, one quote in the story is “What would you like to do? Get the button back and push it? Murder someone?” Norma looked disgusted.

“Murder?”

From this we can see, Norma and Arthur have different perspectives on whether they should press the button or not.
