two decades for freedom

Some may say to determine whether a revolution is successful or not it is by the number of things that continued and things that changed. If you were asking for my perspective I would agree with the idea. One Change is that before the revolution the country is controlled by a dictator, but with the effort of the fellow rebels we made it more of a democratic country. Another significant  change is that after the revolution the gap between different classes shrink peasants and farmers had more land, and power.

A continuity would be that even with the effort of the country the sexist thought was carved into our bones, and it would take a long time to erase.

Mexican revolution

Have you ever wondered wondered what it would be like if you were given birth in Mexico in the 1900s. A place where gender inequalities was at an all time high. Where Elections were no longer fair, and how Madero overthrew Diaz. The Mexican Revolution happened between 1910 and 1920. A Revolution to overthrow Diaz and alongside his dictatorship. This Revolution was similar to others: To create Freedom and equality. Even though they didnt entirely succeed to do that the difference between before and after was significant. Here is a Video to introduce you to the revolution in under 5 minutes

A digital revoultion

from source

The book talks about how two teenage boys at Stanford made one of the most digital companies in the world. how they started out a dilapidated house building it into a company thats worth over the trillions.  provides the readers with a clear understanding of Googles rise to its current state, and its technological advancements.

This page provides the Theme of the book of “that people should look forward forward to the future As in the book where at that time free email only provided a measly 15 GB of storage Google looked beyond that point and offered a staggering 1GB of storage.

And when google were not making any money Larry and Sergey look beyond adding ads and finding numerous ways to making cash instead they looked forward improving their company and to benefit the worlds internet

This page shows a clear view of the important events that happened in the book like where and when it was created when it got there first investment and such

This is a page of the pressure Larry and Sergey have across google and their school either when they had to quit school for google and when they werent making and money to pay their electricity and such

This is the central idea I came across the book which is Internet was very undeveloped and alot of things were very complicated to do on the internet

Thank you for reading my blog post the picture are kinda blurry due to the website but overall I hope you liked it

How much are you a humanist

How much are you a humanist by Samuel Zhou [STUDENT]

Executioner or Barber

This found poem was created with the words of “lather and nothing else” by Fernando Tellez  .In the story” Lather and nothing else” the main character “I” was missioned to kill Captain Torres ,its shows and internal conflict between “I” and himself to decide wether or not to kill . He tries to act calm and do his job but fails after he thought about the consequence. For instance on page 4:”And so, which will it be? Murderer or hero? My fate hangs on the edge of this razor blade.” In this line you could tell that the main character is struggling between the two opinions either to murder or let him go. The reason for the two faces is because it shows the two thoughts in his mind. In the first two lines it shows the protagonists thought of killing Torres and all the people who died under Captain Torres hands will be Avenged. The last three lines shows the other part of the though which he was afraid of the consequence when he kills Torres

The unsuccessful cardboard arcade project :(

My biggest success is that we finished it in time although we came about some frustration about the pin arranging thingy we still manage to change the came subject in time .At first we made a bowlin machine but the string that arrange the pins is not smooth enough we changed a couple of different types of string but it all wont work so at the last class we change it to an obstacle game it wasn’t a huge success but we still manage to run it workin so at least we accomplished somethin.

One thing I want to change is the string that we use because when we found out the wool string is not smooth enough  it is already the last day and we don’t have enough time to my the changes and even though we manage to change it to fishing string in time we found out it is still not smooth enough which cause us to change it a pinball machine.

One advice I will give future student is dont make over complicated games pinball and so is the best choices because complicated games take long time to make so you wont have much time to test the game itself which for example we made the fishing rod and the second to last class and at the last class we found out there is problem with the string which sometimes destroys your entire game.
