"I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious" - Albert Einstein

This is my title although it was agreed to read 70 pages per week or 10 pages per day i read the entire book in two days.

on the third day of my book club since i finished the entire book i have decided not to spoil the book since i have already finished it , therefore i made two sections. The first section is appropriate for presenting as there are no spoilers while the other section is saved for the next meeting when my book club classmates are finished with their book.

In my next lesson i was working on brainstorming a central idea and organized my evidence supporting the central idea by putting quotes in chronological order and using different symbols to show what each sentence is. Sentences include: supporting evidence, how they overcame the issue and opinions and thinking.

On my last page i wrote causes of one large issue and the domino effect of effects that followed.

Lamb of the slaughter poem.

The story “Lamb of the slaughter” By Roald Dahl Is about a woman who is 6 months pregnant and how she reacts to the shocking news that her husband is leaving her starting a person vs person conflict.  She reacts in acts of violence by killing his husband brutally with a lamb leg.

My poem shows the brutality and her thoughts of regret after the murder and how she hides the fact she killed his husband. My background image shows the brutal crime scene and there had two lambs dead hanging which is connected to the blunt weapon she used. I also used red letters and a creepy font in order to match the background and the chaos. I made sure to make the line: “right i killed him.” larger to draw awareness to what she had done in general making it more dramatic.

Overall i tried to replicate her dark desires of anger and impulsivity from her personality and the external person vs person conflict she had with husband (the antagonist).

Welcome to Your New Blog!

When you blog you create posts and posts are categorised according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you. If you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:

  • An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category.
  • Body – this is where you share your learning. This can include text, images, embedded videos from Dragons’ Tube or elsewhere. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging? Do they want to keep reading?
  • Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
