The photo above taken is similar to the example provided since both are small dots speckled across a surface, creating a dotted texture. This works out because although that the colors are inverted, there is still strong semblance between the two.
This is a slightly edited version of the photo above. This technically does work as both create grid-like shapes in the image, but at the same time not as well because the photo had to go through some editing to achieve the desired effect.

This photo depicts some larger dots instead of the small ones we see in the first photograph. This does fit into what the reference image asks for, although there aren’t as many dots.

This image works, but at the same time doesn’t. It works in the sense that there are lines going vertically down in the image, but then again in the reference there should be a few lines compared to a larger background with clear contrast.

This is a very commonly seen perspective used in paintings and photographs. This photo does work out well because it mimics the shape byall the lines in the area pointing toward a specific point at the end of the image, giving the photo depth.

This image partially works out, The part that looks most similar to the reference is supposed to the be the center where the red text is, but it isn’t very eye-catching due to it’s dull color. Instead, the bright red sticks out like a sore thumb; drawing the viewer’s attention toward the red instead of the intended focal point of the image.

This image works out very well, in my opinion. both have thin, almost shuttery lines that create an effect that resembles a glitching or fuzzy screen.

This single image can represent two references. The first one is the black square at the top right of the screen. The back square can be represented by darkness on the top right and light on the left bottom. This represents that well through the contrast between the light spilling in through the door and the dark walls surrounding it. It also represents the second image for more obvious reasons; it is easily seen that there are two vertical lines going down, and a horizontal line cutting them in half at the bottom half of the image.

The pillar references the image well because of the shadows and lighting. In the reference, it depicts a black and white contrast; which the ‘black’ is represented by the darker side of the pillar, and the ‘white’ is seen through where the light its the pillar.

In this image, it is a good representation of the reference because the shutters create the lighter side and the shadows beneath the shutters create a darker side. This reflects the idea of a pattern well and matches with what the refernece depicts.
