This is my abstraction triptych. The themes I wanted to establish were people and facing life, as represented by the background. There are times when life is bleak, empty, and confusing. Like staring at a blank, white wall. Sometimes life provides an opportunity for you to shape it, like a flower pot–even if it was drawn–sticking out like a sore thumb amidst the repetition of life. The doorway to opportunity to not just create, but also to explore. A dark doorway, equal parts intimidating and exciting.
