I chose the story Tuesday of the Other June, by Norma Fox Mazer. The conflict in the story is an external conflict about two girls named June. One of them is educated to be nice and kind, but the other one is a bully and torments the other June. The reason I made my poem this way is because I wanted to show the external conflict good June is facing. The reason I put an image of one person pushing another into water is because the day good June dreads is Tuesday, the day of swimming class, because that day is the day that she meets mean June. My found poem also conveys, at the end, that when you actually stand up for yourself, like good June did, she solved the problem and stopped mean June from bullying her.
