Am I a humanist?

I don’t think I am a humanist. I agree with some of the things, such as everyone’s right to education. I think this is correct, that everyone has a right to learn, whether they are of high or low status. But I do not agree with individual power. I think it is correct, but I only think power should be handled to a) people who want is and b) people who will use it correctly. I agree that the church should not be the main and only power, primarily because I like to be in control of my own life. Human rights also sound good, because people deserve their rights and they should be respected. Lastly, I do not agree with the ancient ideas. They are very old and outdated, they cannot be used for our society. Overall, I don’t exactly agree with humanism.
