Unfairness

After reading “My Side of the Story” By Adam Bagdasarian, I chose a picture of a single tree that stands alone in darkness because I think this is how the protagonist in the story feels like; that without mom, he has no support of his having problems with his brother from anyone but his mother and all by himself, and at last, was hit by his dad, which is the antagonist of the tale.  I believe that the conflict is man to man in this story because the text mostly described the conflict of the protagonist, Adam and the antagonist. On the other hand, I also chose a dark scene for my poem to elaborate on the negativity this story has. Due to the unfairness of “dad” hitting the protagonist, I created a dark picture to emphasize the sad and anxious scene. My poem shows varying from where the conflict commences, approximately where the protagonist tries to pull of the scotch tape that his brother stuck on him, to the climax, about where his dad starts shouting at him, picking the most important words that represents what happened. To summarize this story, it was generally concerning his brother stuck scotch tape on his temple (while pulling multiple hairs off), the same situation happened. He thought his mom would be in her bedroom and be there to support him but had his dad standing there and shouting and slapping him for his impulsive behaviors after.

This can further show the conflict of the story (1:00-6:30)
