I have made my found poem from the story “Lamb To The Slaughter” by the author Roald Dahl.

The conflict of my poem shows that it is a internal Person vs Self conflict. In my poem, I have included parts such as “to reject it all” or “perhaps, she imagined the whole thing” these lines can show how the protagonist has a conflict with herself about wether or not what the antagonist (the protagonist’s husband) told her was real.

I have shown the conflict in my story through color, font, layout and images. When I was creating my poster for my found poem, I did think of a darker style to match with the fear the protagonist has gone through and the lamb leg. The colors I used were black, red, and white. I chose black to be the background color because I wanted the white and red on top of it to be more appealing and eye-catching. The font I have chosen is a really classic font, I chose it because it was simple and classic, which makes the poem just slightly easier to read. The reason I had “frowning” in a bigger size and different is because I wanted the reader to know what the feeling I wanted to show is throughout the poem. I added two images in my found poem poster, firstly I added a pair of eyes that shows fear. This image corresponds to the line “watching him”. While the other image I put is an image of a lamb leg which corresponds to “A leg of lamb”.
