When looking at the pictures posted on DX, I see instantly shape, pattern, and lines. Many of them contain black lines that form a shape, or circles that create patterns, which are also shapes.

I took a few photos inspired by the pictures on DX.

While looking for things I could photograph, I saw the lines on the heater and my curtains, and I turned it into black and white, showing inspiration from 01 and 05 on DX.

 

I got inspiration from pictures 08 and 09; the amp’s grid becomes appealing after turning black and white. This picture was not so captivating because the grid is too intricate and small, causing my eyes to hurt slightly after looking at it.

 

I mainly focused on finding a dark object in front of a light background with numerous geometric shapes on it, and after turning on the filter, the contrast of the buttons and the wall really enhances the black.

I got inspiration for this photo from picture 12 on DX. Not only are the lines interesting, but the velvet texture and the lighting also give it more detail to make the lines stand out.
