found poem

found poem explained
this found poem was created with the words of Roald Dahl. in the story “lamb to the slaughter”. Miss Maloney faces her husband and kills him once he tells her his new job. she also had to cover it up as best as she can, to not let anyone else know she was the killer. this is shown in page 5 just after her husband told her his job and she went to get some lamb, she sees him with his back towards her and swings the frozen lamb to his head killing him instantly. right after she rethinks and figures out a way to cover it up. i tried to use the words “she tried to smile, it turned out rather particular. she tried again” i tried to portray it as if she was trying to pretend as if she was fine, all for the casher in the grocery store to see. i also used ” there’ll be no need for acting at all.” showing that she really did love her husband and it was a really bad mistake that she made.

the found poem is a multimedia product i created to show the conflict in the story “lamb to the slaughter.” i used several applications to put my poem together. I used canva, commonlit, and dragons exchange better known as dx .For the photos that i added i tried to add pictures of what is going on in the story.my goal was to match the right photo to go along with what it was saying it the background. For example it might show that when Miss Maloney had just escaped her house and went to the grocery store and was talking to the casher i added a photo of a cheese cake and a lamb dinner with peas. the conflict that i realized while reading was Miss Maloney killed her husband and thought of a way to successfully hide it. through out the poem i put in colors that represents the mood of the story in the beginning it was blue because blue represents calmness then i sill used blue on the second page to represent tension i used red to represent anger and blood. i used black for being afraid and on the last few pages i put yellow to represent deception.
