The humanist Renaissance movement began in the 1300’s. It was what allowed for the amazing art on the Sistine Chapel and many other famous artworks we know today. Humanism was extremely popular during the renaissance so lets see if you might be a humanist too.

I agree with the humanist movement because I agree with the main aspects of it. I support defining a person by his or her achievements not by whether or not he or she was born into a noble family. I also agree with letting everyone learn art, math and science not having to join the church to learn. I would overall give myself an 8/10 on being a humanist.

I got my ideas mainly from the part when he was trying to keep his cool when he realized he was shaving a person hated by his community. I think he had many conflicting emotions at the time but in the end his conscience won. he was in charge of torturing and killing his people, which gave the barber an incentive to kill him. The background i chose is good because of the the old atmosphere of the barber place.
