Code Girls Notebook page summative

The book i read for this book club unit is called “Code Girls” by Liza Mundy. This book tells an inspiring story of the women who worked as code-breakers during World war two(II) while the author also indicates the central idea ; which i that these women had played a crucial role in helping the navy’s to win the battles by “cracking” eneny codes

For first included notebook page, I wrote my central idea one ;” women had proved they deserve this job through their responsibility and capabilities while they have to suffer from pressure” I included this page first just to give readers more information as they read on the blog

On the second synthesis page, i’ve included another central – idea page, same for both central idea page, I made three clear parts. The claim is the main point, the evidence supports it, and the reasoning shows how. This makes it easy for readers to get the central idea.

As I explored further into my book. I found multiple paragraphs in my book that I believe had well represented the important features of descriptive passages and issues that kept appearing in the book. The author used numbers, locations and vivid verbs to make these paragraphs specific and detailed.

Lastly, I’ve put the cause & effect mind map as the fourth and last synthesis page,  I identified World War II as the main cause since every event in the book are expanded around this cause, and included both positive and negative sides toward WWII

Overall the book had a lot of interesting events and valuable lessons we can learn while observing more information in world war II. Thank for reading my blog post💀 👍

Humanities Infographic

Humanism can be identified as a way of believing that each individual deserve to be valued and these humanists often seek for knowledge which caused them to believe that individual achievement is relatively more important compared to their families. Talking about the few “ism” I included in the infographic i believe “Observation and Experimentation” is the most reasonable one compared to the other few the reason why is because observation and experimentation is still impacting the world today and it has made a significant push for the progress for instance, renaissance observation emphasized careful scrutiny of nature and human society.  Artists in that time have created works of art with a high degree of realism and beauty through the “observation” they made by the human structure and natural landscape ; this method is still used today’s society, observing from investigation is still an important way for us to obtain information and understand the world. Whether it is scientific research, social investigation or artistic creation. Questioning about everything is also playing a important role, this is because “in order to keep yourself from improving you need to ask questions” this is the thought created during the medieval ages and i agree because every asks questions. Individualism had been well developed during the renaissance, humans actions and thoughts had been strictly deprived by the religious beliefs and individuals value have been ignored, but! Individualism had largely spread out and they don’t care about the none sense about after life, they only care about the present so these people named themself “humanists” and incited their creativities. Secularism protects individual freedoms by keeping religion separate from government this seems like its similar to individualism and it is! Secularism allows humans to be treated fairly which i believe it is also important, these four beliefs are very important and if one of them weren’t going right the society will have a massive change.

Murderer or hero

In this short story it describes an created  fiction event that happened in the civil war, it basically describes a conflict where the protagonist is hesitating  to kill or let Torres go unharmed. He thinks about killing Torres but he knows he’s not a murderer. He knows that if he killed Torres, he would be condemned by some and celebrated by others.
