Lost in the Antarctic: The Doomed Voyage of the Endurance (Blog posting) – Yejun

Lost in the Antarctic: The Doomed Voyage of the Endurance by Tod Olson tells the true story of an incredible survival journey. In 1914, Sir Ernest Shackleton and his crew of 27 men set out to explore Antarctica. However, their ship, the Endurance, got stuck in thick ice and was eventually crushed. The men were stranded in one of the coldest and most dangerous places on Earth.

The first central idea I came is Antarctica is a dangerous place  for adventure. As you can see in the picture I wrote centural idea, theme, and issue. Also I wrote each evidence as well. 😄

The second note page is about narrative elements. I wrote character’s role and what the character does. I also shows how characters interact with setting. Some of narrative elements are post in page 6 which is informative element. ( You will may see in the pink poster)  😁

The third note page is about CER structure. In claim I wrote central idea. I also wrote 4 evidences in the book. I made connection with the claim and evidence in the bottom of the page.

For last page I wrote cause and effect. I wrote each 1~5 chapter’s cause and effect. Both cause and effect has great connection. ^-^

Welcome to Your New Blog!

When you blog you create posts and posts are categorised according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you. If you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:

  • An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category.
  • Body – this is where you share your learning. This can include text, images, embedded videos from Dragons’ Tube or elsewhere. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging? Do they want to keep reading?
  • Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
