"I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious" - Albert Einstein

I am a humanist because I value respect, education, and questioning of individuals. The main thing I can relate to in their ideas is that questioning is really important, and another way to put it is that there is a lot to learn from the past.

Tuesday of the June

The found poem was created from the phrases of, “Tuesday of the other June”. In the story, June faces an Internal conflict (man vs itself), she meets a new student who has the same name as her. The newcomer feels unhappy that she has the same name as her and starts harassing her. Because of the other June, June gets traumatized by all the harassments at school, in page she says “My weeks were no longer Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and so on. Tuesday was Awfulday Wednesday was Badday.” Which is a quote that pictures that her week always get counted on the day she goes to school because of the harassment. Despite that this story is about the main character getting harassed and suffers by an antagonist, I believe that the conflict in this story is internal seeing that the main character doesn’t set right the conflict by bonding with the antagonist at the end of the story. In page 8, she describes the other June “Funny like a cartoon character” that she laughed because of her silly look, which shows that she overcame her trauma about getting bullied by herself. For the poem, I used black background to picture that June’s school life got dark because of the other June bullied her. Additionally, the poem is on the June (protagonist)’s perspective, the poem shows what June thought while she was getting bullied, what she heard and what she tried to remind herself about what her mother always said to her, be good. When you blog you create posts and posts are categorised according to your subject. Some categories have already been set up for you. If you need more categories you can add them as needed. It’s important that your posts have the following:

  • An engaging title – this should not include the name of the subject since this is referenced in the category.
  • Body – this is where you share your learning. This can include text, images, embedded videos from Dragons’ Tube or elsewhere. You should always consider how your post looks to your audience. Is it engaging? Do they want to keep reading?
  • Category – select one that has been set for you or add a new category. Posts can have more than one category e.g. Humanities and Myself as a Learner
