To decrease economic problem we must, “create new jobs.” ( Kimberly Amadeo) This solution is we already doing now; however, we can’t make it all disappear, but we have to make efforts little by little so that people don’t get hurt anymore

Economic Problem: policies(unemployment), telecommuting(loss of income), and Inflation

There are many problems in the world that have caused a lot of damage. For example, global warming, plastic pollution, inflation, etc. These problems started roughly in 1960 and have continued to haunt people. One of the most important problems of Sustainable Development Goals is number 11 which makes cities and human settlements comprehensive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. However, in this pandemic situation, we can’t sustain our safe, resilient job. Also, human lives were lost because of COVID-19 and many animals are being sacrificed for vaccines. This has been worsened as clinical trials were carried out in haste as vaccine manufacturers were under pressure to deliver results fast. A tremendous amount of resources has already been spent to fix this issue, but it is uncertain if full recovery would be possible because so much has been lost. Citizens all around the world are suffering from economic conditions that got worsened by the pandemic such as unemployment, loss of income, and inflation. Governments have been battling such issues by creating new kinds of jobs, changing policies, increasing income, or an inflated price of stuff, but citizens are still affected by their health, residence, income, and so on. The three main causes of this problem are inflation, measured at slightly higher than 1% per year in 1964, telecommuting which started in 2020, and policies that each country provided for the covid-19 pandemic.

Policies(unemployment)

Many countries are putting forward many policies to overcome COVID-19 and restore society to its original state. For example, China pursued Zero-Corona policies while US and Korea leaned towards With-Corona policies. It is unclear; however, which policy is better since both plans induced suffering to its citizens. Although both policies have caused discomfort, China is gaining much attention for the side effects of control policies due to the severity of citizens’ suffering. According to Kyodo News, “About 373 million people in 45 cities across China have come under some form of lockdown due to a surge in coronavirus cases amid the spread of the highly contagious Omicron variant, according to estimates by a Nomura Holdings Inc. Unit.” (Kyodo News). In Shanghai, China, the COVID-19 suddenly spread so quickly that the Chinese government was forced to put forward a zero-covid policy. This action caused huge violation of human rights as locked citizens reported lack of access to food. Critics have pointed out that confusion was worsened because the government had told people not to worry about the blockade, but they suddenly changed their course and blocked the city without notice. That, of course, makes people angry, and the sense of insecurity heightened because locked citizens were not able to work. This led to many companies and factories being closed, creating further anxiety as citizens feared that their economy would collapse due to businesses filing bankruptcy. According to Kyodo News, “The Japanese Consulate General in Shanghai said it has appealed on behalf of the plight of some 11,000 Japanese companies based in the city in a letter sent to the municipal government, saying the lockdown has “severely impacted” their operations and uncertainties over the measure have “greatly restricted” their activities.” (Kyodo News). All banks in Shanghai were closed, and payouts were temporarily postponed, perhaps because funds were not raised overseas. It also caused unemployment and school closures, economic depression, and loss of employment income. Furthermore, the policy has led to people starting to rebel and even police beating people for disobedience. There is little to wonder why fear is so widespread in the city when all the people can see is destruction. Their shops were very damaged as properties were not taken care of and falling blockades have caused the destruction of various facilities. But what is worse than damage that is visible is damage that is yet to come. Citizens are living in constant fear that Shanghai’s economy is doomed beyond repair, that their city would still face major economic recession even if the lockdown is lifted. This is the reason why the lockdown policy is questioned, if more damage was done than good. There are many victims in Shanghai, China. The number of COVID-19 confirmed cases was 525,467,084, encompassing 6,285,171 deaths. The current world population is 7.9 billion as of May 2022. About 15 percent of people around the world are sick or dead. If policies do not change anything of it and increase bad things, it should be changed.

Telecommuting(loss of income)

Copious companies are also considering telecommuting which is working in their own house. It gives us many advantages such as advancing your career, advice and assisting you if you have any obstruction. In the US, 90% of US workers prefer telecommuting, a total of 4.7million telecommuters. According to MBN, “The impact of COVID-19 is severe on the economic structure of the world because people were not spending money resultantly. Businesses were not getting revenue, therefore most of the businesses were shut down indefinitely. It was as bad as businesses and establishments owing to their staff because there was no means of paying since there was no revenue coming in. Countries faced all sorts of hardship to bring them to a stable condition. About 80 countries even requested financial help from the IMF as they had to turn to a significant fiscal stimulus to stabilize their economy.” (Market Business News). People are scared to go out and focus only on food, rent, and digital, so other stores don’t spend much money. For example, restaurants, department stores, and fields were closed a lot due to the coronavirus, causing enormous damage. Furthermore, people don’t spend money, so they exploit it to spread rumors and make people buy things. In addition, 20 million households reported having too little to eat in the past seven days, and 10 million households are behind on rent. It is a very important and biggest and most dangerous problem. People’s needs are endless and the resources to meet them are limited. It is almost impossible to completely end it. However, there are still countless people who can’t go to the hospital even if they are sick since they don’t have money or a job. According to MBN, “As of April 2020, a deep recession was predicted but the magnitude of it was dependent on how long the lockdown and restrictions would last. Considering how long it took, the recession happened and is still heavily going on. The world’s highest economies like China, the UK, the US, Japan, Italy, France, Germany, etc. were on the verge of collapse at one time during the lockdown. Stock markets all around have been pounded and oil prices went off the cliff. Just in the US alone, about 4 million people applied for unemployment and started searching for non-existing jobs.” (Market Business News). Employers are to enter negotiations with employees about wage cuts. Since such a reduction requires approval from related employees, it cannot be implemented unilaterally without taking the risk of a claim. On the other hand, if business conditions are important and the company is fighting for survival, employees are willing to compromise for greater benefit. Even if the pay cut is too big a step, the company may try to negotiate a delay in paying the company to breathe. Some companies have already cut wages because of telecommuting. Among those who were working before the pandemic started and who personally experienced a pay cut since February 2020, about half (49%) say they are now earning less money than they did before the pandemic; 16% are now earning more money and 34% say they are earning about the same as before. Companies and the government should control the income that does not affect people’s life. Even now, people have already cut their wages a lot, but if they do more than now, it will be harder for them to live, and the economy will be more unstable since people do not spend money, so they will have to ask the IMF for more money later, so there is a risk that the country will collapse. Also, there are 331 million people in the United States, and as we saw earlier, many countries are asking the IMF for help because the economy is out of control. Then, the government should control, establish new groups or found new organization. The enormous impact on unemployment and loss of income could have been slightly prevented by the Federal-State Unemployment Insurance (UI) program, which was established in 1935. But that’s just unemployment and loss of income. In short, it is part of the economic problem. For now, even if there is an insurance program, the government cannot help, so it is inevitable to ask the IMF for help.

Inflation

Almost all countries around the world have telecommuted, and shut down factories, resulting in hundreds of people whose profits have been reduced. Those people will live a harder life since they used to be less profitable because there are variables in their money plans. However, the country reduced people’s profits, and inflation continued to rise. According to Trading Economics, “China’s annual inflation rate accelerated to 2.1% in April 2022 from 1.5% in March, above market forecasts of 1.8%. This was the highest reading since last November, amid logistic disruptions invoked by strict COVID-19 measures. Prices of food rose for the first time in five months, with the rate of inflation (1.9%) being the highest since October 2020. Meanwhile, cost of non-food increased 2.2% (vs 2.2% in March), lifted by housing (1.2% vs 1.3%), transportation & communication (6.5% vs 5.8%), education, culture (2.0% vs 2.6%), clothing (0.5% vs 0.6%), household goods and services (1.2% vs 2.2%), and healthcare (0.7% vs 0.7%).” (Trading Economics). Inflation has historically been inversely related to unemployment. This means that when inflation rises, unemployment falls. On the other hand, higher unemployment equals lower inflation. When more people work, they have the power to consume, which leads to increased demand. However, these days, it is almost a total mess because of Corona, the unemployment rate is rising these days, and inflation should be lowered, but it is hitting a high and causing severe damage to people. According to Reuters, “The International Monetary Fund (IMF) last week raised its forecast for South Korea’s 2022 annual inflation to 4.0% from 3.1% previously. The consumer sentiment index from the survey of 2,500 households, conducted between April 12 and 19, rose to a 3-month high of 103.8 from 103.2 in March.” (Reuters). Not only China but also South Korea is tough. They are experiencing inflation just like China and other countries. However, they put forward the policy of With-Corona, so many people are going back to work now, but they would live a harder life for the reason that inflation is higher, and profits are the same. If life repeats itself and you do not eat proper food, many diseases will occur. It may cause stress-related health issues such as headaches, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, back pain, insomnia, severe financial hardship and poverty, debt, homelessness and housing stress, family tensions and breakdown, boredom, alienation, shame, and stigma, increased social isolation, crime, erosion of confidence and self-esteem, the atrophying of work skills and ill-health. Then, inflation should be controlled with unemployment for people’s life, healthcare, and consumers. As seen in the example of disease and illness, it will cost a lot of money because it will take quite a long time to cure the disease, have to take medicine, or even operate if it is dangerous. For example, about $108 billion (about $330 per person in the US) is spent annually on treating coronary heart disease. Engaging in healthy behaviors, such as keeping blood pressure, cholesterol, weight low and reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes by more than 80 percent.

In conclusion, policies should be re-established, new jobs created, paid for their work, and inflation should be equal to people’s profits for solving this problem. By solving this problem, we can give many unemployed or unemployed people a chance to make money and make sure that people no longer suffer mentally and physically. It is one of the most serious problems in the world, but people’s needs are endless and the resources to meet them are limited. It is almost impossible to completely end it. However, there are still countless people who cannot go to the hospital even if they are sick because they do not have money or jobs. Another way I am suggesting is to provide enough money to live from firing a person to getting a job.

The Deepest Story of the Tax-filled Revolutionary War

People called her Minor Sybil Ludington. Since she was 13years old, she was the timidness girl at that time. She feared the making friends and felt uncomfortable. However, as I saw Sybil Ludington, her life had changed course. She did dangerous things without any fear. This is her story of Pain, Parting, and Liberty.

The American Revolution. Years of Land fight, war, and Taxes. Many things have changed with this, but some remain the same. Great Britain started controlling by taxation without representation. There was also some slogan that called “No taxation without representation. It expressed one of the main complaints of American colonists against England. The continuity by American Revolution are Rights of women, slaves, Native Americans, and White, rich men in charge. The changes by American Revolution are no one denied opportunity because of who parents are, and Political power in the hands of ordinary men. There were more than 7 Wars in American Revolution. American Revolution was successful. For example, American colonists, such as the Declaration of Independence, made great efforts to achieve independence. In 1781, after French support helped the Continental Army surrender Britain in Yorktown, Virginia, the United States effectively gained independence, although the battle did not officially end until 1783. Consequently, in the Treaty of Paris was signed with American politicians and representatives of King George III of England. This treaty officially ended the American War of Independence after the Battle of Yorktown. Another reason that why this treaty is important that the United States was officially recognized as an independent country by this treaty. This treaty organized for the city in which it was discussed and signed.

The Terrible Revolution to be Independent Country

“American Revolution, also called United States War of Independence or American Revolutionary War, (1775–83), insurrection by which 13 of Great Britain’s North American colonies won political independence and went on to form the United States of America.”

Image of the American Revolution may show the Great Britain and Americans which country didn’t independence country at that time. The one of most popular revolutions started with war is the American Revolution. After the Treaty of Paris in 1763 which is solved the French and Indian War and Seven Years’ War, revolution is occurred. There is uncountable act such as sugar act, stamp act, declaratory act, tea act, and Townshend Act. Thirteen of Britain’s North American colonies ignored British rule to found a sovereign United States. This revolution is one of the most important revolutions to Americans be liberty. Americans fought a long rebellion and war of about eight years to become independent from England, and eventually officially became independent in 1783. The American Revolution was the longest military conflict in the United States before the Vietnam War. Charles Cornwallis did not turn himself in Yorktown, but rather sent his agent Charles O’Hara on the grounds of illness. About 5,000 continental troops were black, accounting for 5% of the total troops.

Flowers in the Gutter

Flowers in the Gutter by K. R. Gaddy is about the true story of the Edelweiss pirates. They’re working-class teenagers who fought against the Nazis at all costs. Fritz, Gertrud, and Jean were classic outsiders that their clothes were different, their music was rebellious, and they weren’t afraid to fight. The story is about a story of heroism and resistance that will inspire readers to stand up and fight for what’s right.

I like this book. Scroll down and please enjoy the main idea and topic that I felt from my notebook.^^

The first central idea I met in the book was Rebellion and Resistance are not always bad.

As I read more, I felt like a lot of war slaves were captured and taken to a German factory, and they were controlling everything. And Nazis took away the freedom to sing people’s songs. It annoyed me, but unlike the novel, I realized that the true story is not about one kind of content, but sometimes it is narrative and sometimes information.

The cause I first met in the book is the change in government. But this influenced people at first, but it was also connected at the end of the book and influenced people.

I saw an article on page 203 of the book, so I decided to watch it again. People living in Germany thought that the problem at the time was a war between countries, but internal war was more important to them. They revolted against Nazis and Hitler to stop the war and regain their freedom. If the government expresses understanding and respect for people, rebellion will not happen. If there is no rebellion, the country will be peaceful.

Thank you for watching my blogs! If you are interested in this topic, read Flowers in the Gutter by K.R. Garry.

Conflict of Tuesday of the Other June

We have the same name June

Pinched, Fisheyes, Fisheyes

Shoved in pool, water

Grabbed Fingers, Twisted, pinched me

Character: Two Junes, Junes mom, two teachers

Plot: The author is “Norma Fox Mazer” who made “Tuesday of the Other June.” This book is June who gets bullied by the other June when June meets in swimming class. June and she hated Tuesdays which she called “bad days” because she would get bullied by the other girl named June in her swimming class. June “the bully” would call June “the nice girl” fish eyes buffalo brain and also the mean June would creep to the nice June’s house to torment her.

Concept: A girl named June goes to her swimming class every Tuesday and finds someone with the same name as her.

Conflict: June is being bullied by other June because they are the same name and the other June is her name. This conflict is external because it is a person and a person. For example, “No we don’t. June is my name, and I don’t give you permission to use it. Your name is Fish Eyes.” She pinched me hard. “Got it, Fish Eyes?” This quote is other June bullying June and fight between June and Other June, a person and a person.

Theme: June stood up for herself. The other June will never bother her again. This theme is to defend yourself and prevent bullies from dominating your life.

Explanation of poem: “We have the same name June” is a main problem of this story, the reason why the other June is making fun of me. “Pinched, Fisheyes, Fisheyes, shoved in pool, water, Grabbed Fingers, Twisted, pinched me” is a situation of June bullied by the other June.

Percy Jackson Informational Blog

There is many choose chance of Percy Jackson. But Percy Jackson have many trouble. I should talk about to trouble of Percy Jackson.

In pg.1 “My name is Percy Jackson.

I’m twelve years old. Until a few months ago, I was a boarding student at Yancy Academy, a private school for troubled kids in upstate New York.” I think this is bad education of Percy Jackson.

“See, bad things happen to me on field trips. Like at my fifth-grade school, when we went to the Saratoga battlefield, I had this accident with a Revolutionary War cannon. I wasn’t aiming for the school bus, but of course I got expelled anyway.” This is bad situation of school trips because if in revolutionary War cannon has bomb, he should kill many people then other people surprise and I think they could see Percy was monster, the rebel army or he crazy, and want to do war.

In pg.17 “I started feeling cranky and irritable most of the time. My grades slipped from Ds to Fs. I got into more fights with Nancy Bobofit and her friends. I was sent out into the hallway in almost every class.

Finally, when our English teacher, Mr. Nicoll, asked me for the millionth time why I was too lazy to study for spelling tests, I snapped. I called him an old sot. I wasn’t even sure what it meant, but it sounded good.” This is second time of bad education than before six grades of Percy Jackson. I think if Percy Jackson fight someone, he can’t concentration of test.

I think everything are wrong of education of Percy Jackson because I think he have some curiosity of many weapon that is danger of many people. I think if Percy Jackson want to go to school, before, he has to study of concept, manners or power of Percy Jackson.

“My grades slipped from Ds to Percy Jackson Fs.” In here, I think he need some study tips because he can’t follow study then he need plan, time, discover your study style, review and ask for help because if he can’t do good to study after and after, too. In ask for help, it is something if he doesn’t know or he have curiosity, he asks to teacher, friends or parents. If he can’t hold back of curiosity something, then he should practice of patience.

Percy Jackson and the lightning thief

In Percy Jackson and the lightning thief Percy Jackson is fearful.

On pg.53   Percy Jackson said,” “I can’t go any farther.” and pg.59 “My mother was gone.”

Based on these actions one can infer that on pg.53 “I can’t go any farther.” In here, Percy Jackson was so fearful because Percy Jackson was don’t know where it and no one can help in that situation then he got fear of losing his mom and how to kill Minotaur, but he was using his power then “My legs tensed. I couldn’t jump sideways, so I leaped straight up, kicking off from the creature’s head, using it as a springboard, turning in midair and landing on his neck. How did I do that? I didn’t have time to figure it out,” Percy said. I think He was so surprised that he resolved his fears and used his powers to kill Minotaur.

Based on these actions one can infer that on pg.59 “My mother was gone.” This is fearful to Percy Jackson because “The whole world should be black and cold. Nothing should look beautiful.” he lost mom then I think he knew if he lost his mom, he would feel everything has gone.
